Plot
Three friends—played by Binnu Dhillon and B.N. Sharma—who work at a contact centre but find it difficult to keep a consistent salary take the stage in the plot. Their lives suddenly veer sharply and humorously when they discover they are caught in an abduction scheme from a misdirected phone call. Striking a balance between maintaining their employment and avoiding the risks of criminal misinterpretation, they negotiate a sequence of regrettable (and funny) incidents that creates a roller-coaster ride of comedy.
The story starts with traditional mix-ups whereby the three guys unintentionally find themselves in a high-stakes scenario. Every misinterpretation causes more chuckles and ridiculous scenarios as they try to escape these problems. The core of the comedy in the movie is the awkward and desperate efforts of the people to outsmart the crooks and save themselves.
Cast
Binnu dhillon as Jaggi Renowned for his impeccable comic timing, Dhillon excels as the protagonist delivering lines with a natural ease that accentuates the comedy. His interactions with the primary and supporting cast highlight the most funny scenes. Rajat Bedi as Pali
B.N. Sharma as Nathuram, a seasoned Punjabi film comic, Sharma gives his character complexity and a spectrum of responses fit the crazy circumstances they come across.
Though the story revolves largely around the main trio, the supporting actors—Ihana Dhillon and Navneet Kaur Dhillon—add value to the movie. Their performances are sufficient to maintain the interesting narrative.

verdict
Fun and vibrant Punjabi comedy Gol Gappe appeals to those who appreciate situational comedy, eccentric characters, and neat entertainment. Watching the cast is worth it given their performances—especially those of Binnu Dhillon and Gurpreet Ghuggi. The movie’s humour and fast tempo keep it interesting even with its expected story. Gol Gappe is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a basic, feel-good film loaded with laughter and light-hearted enjoyment. Those seeking a movie with emotional depth or sophisticated narrative, however, would not find it here.
